    guy on my local board is selling a 79 cj-5 harley davidson edition...ever hear of it.......?

    Nope. I saw it too and think he's full of crap. Not much original left on it even if it was some sort of special edition.

    I once saw a 79 CJ5 harley-davison edition on ebay a while back maybe it's the same one. Guy painted it orange and black and put a few stickers on it =harley-davison edition.

    No such animal came from the factory that I know of.

    1979 was the AMF era for Harley, so it woulda been the AMF AMC edition. :)
