I just got the Meyers top home, perfect in every way, but no hinges that mount to windshield and body. Can someone please post a couple of pics of these please??

    Dave,

I ran out and snapped a couple of pics of mine. I'm pretty sure it's a Meyers. Hope these help.

EDIT: I think I'm missing a couple of parts that mount to the windshield frame at the front of the door that create a kind of "door jam" for the door to rest against and also create a weather seal. I currently am using some thick weatherstipping attached to the front of the door right now to fill the gap. If anyone has pictures of or info about the pieces I assume I'm missing, I'd sure appreciate a look.

Thank you much for those pics. That is exactly what I have been looking for.
I believe the piece that you have missing is probably very similar to what I have mounted to my windshield that I put on there about 14 years ago when I put on the Best top brand soft top.
I think some 1/8 x1x1 aluminum angle iron would probably work just fine here. Mount one leg of the angle to your windshield frame and the other leg becomes the "Jam" or stop like you say. I think this would or should work just fine.

One other thing on my doors that I am not sure about is a vertical pin mounted about 6 inches above the bottom of the door at the front hinge point that is about 5/16 in dia. and maybe 2 inches tall attatched at the bottom side and stood off of the door about 1/4 inch or so and open to the top. I am thinking a limiting strap to keep the door from over opening????
    Any ideas???
    Thanks,
    Dave

my top has a different hinge, (I also still have the top wipers).

The bottom hinge looks the same as the latter jeeps (76+)

The top hinge on mine uses 4 bolts to attach to the frame. 2 in front holding on the hinge, and 2 on the upper end holding the hinge to the windshield frame. would be easy to make: angle iron for the sides. flatbar for the extension and 5/16" pipe for the hinge itself.

The peg of the hinge is 5/16" and is about 2.5" long. it does stick out from the bottom about 1/8"
