    Did you check Walt's suggestion, regarding the exhaust pipe perhaps being restricted or plugged?

    I once had a problem where the Jeep would start and idle, but had no power, after resting all winter... I discovered squirrels had completely filled the exhaust pipe and muffler with nuts.

    My f134 was sluggish also:
    1-found the timing needed advancing.
    2- coil was weak.
    3- replaced the yf carb with a solex- {made a world of difference}

    PeteL - I didnt check that suggestion about the exhust pipe being restricted, but i will do it soon.
    tcfeet - I belive the timing is good as the engine sound o.k at idle. I will not replace to a solex. My engine have only one choise, the YF. As for the coil i tried a new one and got the same symptoms.
    I will fix the small fuel leakage i have from the tank to the fuel pump. Maybe some air gets in ...

    Another question: I have a plastic fuel filter just before the carburator. Its always 90-95% empty. Is it normal?

    If you have any kind of leak in the fuel line that fuel can get out of then air can get in. when the fuel pump is sucking fuel it will also suck air and that will show in the fuel filter not being full. This same thing happened to me. The filter would not be full when the engine was running. It varied from 1/4 to 1/2 full and the would idle fine all day if I let it. As soon as I needed power it just wasn't there. I hope yours is that simple.

    Good News:

    After consultation with a good friend who is a vehicle practical engineer i decided to focus on the fuel system (system :) ). It wasnt my first attempt: I adjusted and cleaned my carb. and even replace with another one - and got the same symptoms. I belive i used 2 bad carburators. Also i replaced the fuel pump.

    Today I got my father`s cj-5 and swap carburators. My engine worked fine!

    So now i will have to get a good carburator and hope to get end to that problem. I assume i will have to get a new repair kit.

    Thanks for all the inputs.
