225 fuel pump eccentric

    I am in the process of freshening up a Dauntless V6 to put in my CJ3A. When I removed the timing cover I found that the fuel pump eccentric is shot. The PO said that he had been running an electric pump. What would you guys do? Hunt down an eccentric or just use an electric pump? Not sure which one would be more reliable.

    Also I have read about a cam button. I assumed that it was used on the front of the cam but my motor simply has a screw. Is this where a button should be? If so, where can I find one?

    I run the mechanical - and would replace the whole thing, they are not that expensive.

    TA Performance has the button I believe.
