    Could somebody please tell me where to find the original seat brackets/frames for a 1975 Cj6. I am in the process of rebuilding one and I need several items. These years seem to be forgotten.

    Ken, you'll have to find some from a parts Jeep somewhere. There is no aftermarket source. The CJ-6 brackets are the same as the CJ-5, from 1972-75.

    Try advertising in the 'want to buy' classifieds here and on other Jeep forums. You could try J&W Jeep in Antelope CA, or Scotty's in Fontana CA - they are Jeep-only wrecking yards. There are other Jeep wreckers too, but you'll have to look search for them.

    Tim, Thanks a lot for the reply. I was hoping to just buy new front seat frame/brackets and be done with it. Ok, I'll take your advice and post "Want to buy"
