    Hey guys.

    2 questions.
    1. I have attached pictures of my cj5 75 axles, can you inform me of the axle models ?

    2. Jeep is leaking a little bit of oil, im sure it is from the transfer case. Im not a big mechanic or anything, but i can do some things with my hands. Otherwise i know where to get help, Anyway i have to order the parts in the USA, so therefore it would be nice to know what you think i need to replace, and weather you agree that it is my transfercase that is leaking.
Maybe some of you know witch model my transfer case is ? Engine is 258 Cui, 3 gears!
I think i need to replace a gasket in the transfer case. Thinking of buying this set:

would i need to take the entire transfercase off the jeep to replace the gaskets?

    Thanks

    Rear: Dana model 44.
    Front: Dana model 30.
Transfer case is a Dana model 20.

These are the components they are, and what they should be. Looks completely original to me.

Leakage does not look too bad to me. Jeeps leak oil, generally. If that's your worst problem with this Jeep, you are a lucky man.

Yeah...looks pretty clean to me too. If it bothers you that much you may want to degrease the underside to find out where it's really leaking at.

The gasket set you picked out is a full set for the Dana 20. Some of the gaskets in that set would require separating your transfer case from the transmission, others will not.

Haha okay guys. Well it is only a liiiitle bit leaking, but i was worried that someday it might ran out of oil. And currently that is my only problem. Thanks for your help!

If you can get it to STOP leaking you might be up for a nobel prize, lol.

Minor leaks are pretty much standard. They generally dont leak fast enough to need more than the very occasional top off.

If your jeep has a t-14 or t-15 the trans and transfer case share oil. Generally this causes the t-case to be overfilled and the trans to be underfilled. Standard procedure it to just top off hte transmission and not to worry about the t-case since its almost always overfilled anyway.

Take the fill plug out and put your finger in to feel the level. Should be up to the fill plug.

Question what weight oil do you use for the trans and transfer?
