    I know someone knows.
    is a rochester 2bbl the same mounting size as a holley? large 2bbl?
    is a carter carb a small 1bbl?

    you are much better off switching to a 2bbl manifold if you want to run a 2bbl carb. i ran the 2 into 1 adapter and it ran ok . much better with the newer 81+ manifold

    There's 2 different bolt patterns for Rochester 2bbl (2g/2gc) carbs. The smaller one is the same as a Carter BBD & was used on the Jeep 225 V6, Chevy 283 & others. The larger one was used on Buick/Olds/Pontiac v8's as well as larger Chevys like the 350. Neither of these is as large as the standard Holley 2bbl bolt pattern, which is the same as a Ford 2bbl.
