spark plugs??

    I know a guy that bought some plugs for a m38a1, but I do not know what they actually fit, would anyone know 6 of them are BR8S and he has a bunch of 2920-229-6512....AR65D5A700-69-C-F594A-9/69..... I don't know where all those numbers come from one plug?? Anyway told him I could post it on a site or two and someone may know... thanks.. craig

    BR8S is typically a snowmobile 2 stroke plug. Has a long threaded end, too skinny for an f-head? The other numbers (different plugs?) look like a military part#.

    2920-229-6512 is FSN for a shielded non aircraft spark plug, add 00 between first and second set of numbers. 2920-00-229-6512 this is current format for federal stock numbers. I did not find application info though.

    thanks guys, you know I thought BR8S was a snowmobile plug, I used to have skidoos and now fly a powered parachute with a Aircraft Rotax and the plug is that I think... usually I change them every spring, only got up twice last month and need to order some... thanks for jogging the memory...
