i have a question about starters.

hello from reno..
i have a 68 jeepster that i put a late 70's/early 80's 231 even fire buick in.i had the heavy stock flywheel balenced for it and useing the stock bell housing bolted it to an sm420 tranny. i'm running sanderson block hugger headers so my stock starter wont fit. so i want to run a compact starter. the guys at summit have sold me the wrong starter twice now. so i thought i would ask you guys. because i know that someone else has to be in the same boat as me.
the fly wheel has 160 teeth. so should the starter have 9 or 11 teeth? and witch brand or compact starters are you guys running?thanks mike.

 

9 tooth. Can't help with which brand of compact.
