I'm considering a hyd clutch for my 225/'48 Willys PU project. Anyone have any experience/recomendations? I was also looking at the AA chain-drive linkage kit, but I'm not sure how the bellcrank will line up with the 225.

A bell crank isn't impossible. However! If you can rig up the hydraulic clutch you will LOVE it. I am not sure that there is much to be gained with the chain linkage over the rod system. Go for it, sounds like a nice project. -Hill

Just got through installing a new hydrolic system. Didn't concider the chain set-up 'til after I already ordered my parts but if I had known about a chain clutch it may have been the way I had gone. Looks like it would flex before it breaks. On the other hand this is the best hydrolic clutch set up I've ever had. Got it from Summit, cheaper than what I could get it at the local parts stores or local 4x4 shop.Slave cyl. Howes part#HRE-8361 $65.69, Master cyl. Willwood part#WIL-260-1304 $45.95. Both 3/4"bore, thats important. You don't want to mismatch.Like a 3/4" bore master cyl with a 7/8" slave cyl want push any more fluid or move the clutch fork any further. You would need a bigger master cyl. But for your application as mine, the 3/4" bore works fine. Holp some of this helps. Duke
