sliders for a 66cj5

    my 66cj5 has a fiberglass tub need some rock sliders that dont attach to the tub, so i dont bust up the tub on the trail . not having much luck finding anyone who sells them for my year. cant make them myself as i dont have any wielding gear.

    Years ago we had a guy on this site who made them for ECJ5s. I bought a set from him, bolted them to my fiberglass tub. Hit on them pretty good a few times, no issues with the glass tub. You might consider an inner plate to sandwich the tub to spread any interior load so the bolts don't try to tear out in the event of a hard slide on the sliders.

    With some measurements you could probably have a sheet metal shop make up a set for you. Mine were 5" tall outside, 6" underneath...
