Hello, has anyone cut off and run there front fenders without the (Front Fender angle supports)? Mine are in bad shape, but the rest of the fenders are in great shape. I know they make replacements but I was wondering if there was any negative affect to the fenders to not have them? I just do not want to buy the replacements and fix the fenders if I do not need to. They seem to be very sturdy bolted on without them, so any advice is welcome.

i guess you could just weld some angle iron in their place if you want the support.

I run mine with just the Grill and Firewall mounts bolted up. I have cut the others off for shock mounts and Bat room in my setups.

I have put together dozens of flattys and have maybe had one or two line up and work. I always bolt the body on with 1" poly mounts so the bottom fender braces never line up.
