225 rough idle

Yeah, yeah... The 225 is supposed to idle rough. how rough is normal? Is it supposed to shake the entire rig? Is it supposed to be a heavy and inconsistent shake? I need to get up to about 1000 rpm for it to be anything close to smooth. Is that normal?

I'm asking because I just wrapped up a top-end rebuild (with a Comp 252H) and before I did the top-end it had a stock cam and 4 bad valves and it idled smoother than it does now.
