Has anyone else noticed the really crappy welds were the axle tubes were plug welded to the "pumpkin"? Is this a concern from a strength/leaking standpoint? Should I add another weld? or forget about it? Thanks

Never had one leak and I guess the answer to the strength depends on how many ft lbs you are putting on it. I don't think you can twist the tubes with a 134 and I doubt it happens with a 225, except perhaps with some very big tires and big gears. It can happen with a V8. Stitch welds do help.

225 v6 with nothing performance wise added...I think it will be fine. I was just sitting here debating which welds were worse, the ones on my frame or these on my rear end:) thanks for the reply
