t-90 side shift tranny

will the shift forks from a top shift t-90 tranny work on the side shift t90. if not does anyone now where to get new shift forks for the side shift(COLUM) tranny

The standard T-90 top shift assy should work on the side shift gear box with no problems. The reason I say this is because I have put the top shift on a T-90J trans w/side-shift with no problems and the only difference between T-90A1 and T-90J is longer input shaft and gear teeth count. I would say try it. If it don't shift then it won't work, but I'll bet it will.

Your not saying what this T-90 is out of or is it a T90-J?

 

for converting, yes
but you have to remove the side shift forks first.
top shift forks will not work for side shift forks, replacement wise, if that is what you are asking. Different mechanism entirely.
