In my AMC CJ-5, I had a hd eyebolt that was mounted on the hood. When the hood was closed there was a slot for it. Reach in through the grill and add a lock. Install a lock out switch for power and/or ignition switch.
On the Kaiser CJ-5,there is installed a power switch. It has the turn off knob located in the drivers compartment. I have to make a bracket to mount the switch completely in the engine compartment. Also have a Bulldog alarm in the engine compartment. It is remote controlled and got a good price at look store(they where getting rid of old stock). Have hd locking cable around steering wheel and seat bracket. Of course will be putting in the eyebolt and lock system. That should slow them down.

I arm the alarm by bumping all 4 levers on the floor and throwing the battery disconnect under the dash. Heck half the time I can't figure out why it wont go.R)
