I'm in the middle of rebuilding my heater controls and I have been trying to figure out what to do about the control conduit that opens the vent. Mine looks pretty bad. Its got a kink and the spring broke halfway down. Can you buy that spring conduit stock and build a new one?

Unless it's an oddball cable, you can use the sheath (conduit?) from a generic choke cable from the parts store. Put your core and knob in that sheath.

It should work ... I have used the generic Dorman cables to repair my heater controls.

Yep, like Tim said, it's a pretty standard size cable and sheath (conduit?)

When you say spring, do you mean the cable?
