Superlift, Trailmaster or Skyjacker? Which company makes the "best" 4" Lift???

I know there are a lot of opinions, but that's what I am after. I am looking to shorten my shackles and have room for 33's and full flex.

So, post some pictures and let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks for the help.

You might call Bob Supplee and ask his opinion.

I ran 33s on the 71 with a Skyjacker Softride 2.5" lift and shackles 1.5" longer than stock. Plenty of flex. The Skyjacker is flexy, rides about as smooth as you're going to get. Works well with Rancho adjustable shocks.

Oh, I agree with checking out Bob Supplee. 405-799-8977

My 3" Black Diamond Suspension (owned by Skyjacker) actually provided close to 4" of lift on my 74. Haven't driven it yet to give feedback on the ride quality, but the spring manufacturing quality is excellent, and I like the military wrap springs. I also have a Black Diamond 3" system on my Scrambler which rides really nice, but comparing a 104" Scrambler's ride with an 84" CJ5 is apples to oranges, so not much help.

    Thanks guys,

I've emailed Bob with the same question etc...

I currently have a Rancho 2.5" with 5" shackles (which provide 1" of lift from OEM 3" Shackles) and running 31x12.5x15. I'll need the 4" to clear 33" tires as the full flex right now is perfect but with 33's I'll rip off my front fenders...

Isn't Black Daimond owned by Superlift? Skyjacker has the nice military wraps too, and it's good to know that Black Diamond does too if I go that route. My goal though is to reduce the legnth of my shackles, increase the hight a little, run 33's and improve my caster angle.

Oh yeah, I knew it was one of those. They were originally a Warn product before Warn sold off most of their side ventures and went back to winches and hubs, their bread and butter.

Rancho Suspension and stay away from any body lift..... have owned this jeep since new and the Ranch 4" has served me extremely well for well over half of his life.... this old guy had just over five miles on odometer when purchased.... now has over 165,000. Only item that has failed... master cylinder and brake pads.... of course engine work at 100k... great since upgrades..... but the Rancho lift has taken a beating and never let me down... even had this Jeep dangled from side of a Cliff in Colorado... the Warn Winch hauled it back up to safety. Yes, we all know what a great winch the Warn 8274 is, especially when upgraded to the larger motor and heavier rated cable or synthetic line... I have always used the heaviest cable available.... just something I like 100%. Good luck with your Suspension lift decision.... hope many years in future you are happy with your decision... get the best and you will never regret!

Please ALSO NOTE: before my suspension Rancho lift I was riding on 31" BFG mud tires... since upgrade have used two different paws due to condition encountered: Highway use: General 33X12.50X15 offroad: Interco TSL Mud 35X10.50X15
