Still on my quest to find a 1/2 top for my '61 CJ5.
On Ebay there is a really nice looking 1/2 top like 20 miles from me.
What's the difference (windshield width wise, door opening wise) between the 2 and the 5???
It looks like there is a spacer plate that mounts against the windshield/tub for the doors, so if the windshield angle is different, (if I remember the 2 windshield is straighter than the 5, I can make one of those.

If it's close, I can make anything fit!:D

The '2A top will not fit a CJ-5 of any year, the front of the CJ-5 body and the windshield are much wider. The flatfenders all had a taper to the body that started at the front seats and narrowed to the width of the early hoodline. That's why the flatty fenders seem to stick out so far compared to the CJ-5's. ;)

You can make a CJ5 top sort of fit on a flatty but it would be a very big modification job to go the other direction. I ran a Whitco CJ5 top on the 3B for several years. Even adding some extra snaps on the windshield frame, it was a bit baggy in several spots.
