Early 70s CJ5 Dana 30 u-bolt size...2 sizes?

    Ok. I found a wierd one. I'm installing my 2" add a leaf suspension and started to work on the passengers side front tonight. As I began removing the U-bolts (cut off saw technique :D), 1 of them was on the axle tube as normal, but the inside one was on the diff casing itself were it steps up off the axle tube. This would require a different (larger) size U-bolt. Seems a bit strange to me.

    Can anyone confirm this or take a nice close up picture of the passengers side set up?

    Dana 25, 27, 30,.....
    they're all that way
    3 ubolts over tube will be the same
    1 over the pumpkin is wider
    look at passenger spring plate and note the hole spacing

    Gotcha, thanks. I just looked at the spring plate. I'm kinda slow sometimes......

    Anyway, is the inside diameter 3 1/8"? Just want to be sure since I measured it after a few.......ah.....barley pops........
