L & Fhead freeze plug #'s

    well after being on the phone for a hour with 4 different parts houses i have the part # for the correct freeze plugs. dorman 550-017 is the correct style. it is 1 1/4" diameter and dish or saucer shaped. the dorman 555-024 is the correct diameter but is not the correct one. it is cup shaped and will not drive far enough into the block to secure it. I hope this will help the next guy out that opens pandoras box. had i only known the part # it would have saved me alot of flustration:hurrican:

    well its official, have the 550-017 in my hand and it is indeed the correct one:beer:
