Dumbass question and then maybe not.

Is anyone making a replicas of the "jeep" whitco soft tops or is anyone even thinking about making replicas.

I suspect there is a demand for them judging by how sought after NOS whitco tops have become.

I'm not keen on the bestop and "belt rail system" yeah I know they are technically good ( I have one on a CJ7) but I don't like the style it's too "solid" looking for me.

I want the whitco look with the clear lower door panel but I can't find anything close.

Other then a one-off at a boat shop, I think Bestop Tigertops are the only game in town right now up till 76 era Jeeps. Be careful buying a NOS top that is 30 years old as it will probably have defects from being folded up so long.

Actually mine is a '77 (if I ever get it finished) so a lot of fittings are CJ7ish

My bad, I missed the 7 in your post. You then actually have quite a few more options as the 76 and up still have quite a bit of aftermarket support.
