I have a 67 cj5 that I am putting a plow on. i was given two mounts w/the jeep for a meyers plow and i was told one of these were on this jeep at one time. looks to be a manufactured mount however it looks like something is missing to the rear of the mount like bracket to go to the frame. were does it hook to the frame at the rear? anyone have any pics of frame monting for an older meyers plow w/power angle? thanks for any help

on my old western plow that i had (full size chevy) it had 3 pieces best i recall. a frame work all welded together that mounted to the front of the frame. and 2 angle iron braces that went from the bottom of the plow frame work to the frame of the truck futher back @ a 45° angle. each brace had a piece welded to it that attached with a 3/4" bolt to the side of the framerail. not sure how it works on a jeep, but there should be some kind of renforcment from the bottom of the plowframe.

There were many variants. Some had plates that clamped around the frame near the rearmost spring mount, some bolted direct to the frame, others clamped onto the spring leaves....
