factory welds?

    just got the frame sandblasted today. wow. looks so nice with that silver tint to it. I am looking over the welds and I am pretty sure they are factory but man do they look like crap. Has anybody took a good look at their welds and seen the same thing?
    I will take some pictures tomorrow and try to post them for all to see.
    sand blasting cost me 100.00 even. Good deal but i have lot of sand to clean up now.

    My welds suck. I have two trannys sitting on my garage floor.

    yeah. thanks for the reply.
    I was looking at them and thinking somebody had to re-weld them or somethign but you could still tell they were original. they really do suck.
    some have hole burnt through and lots of slag.
    but i do think the PO might of gone over the welds again with a wire feeder there are a few strands of welding wire left in some of the welds.
    do you know if they used mig welders back in the 60's?
