Well, I cant figure out how these hubs are suppose to come off.

Here is a pic of it:

I have removed the 6 bolts, and the hub spins and only will slide foward about 1/2" and wont come off. All I can figure to do next is get a slidng hammer and knock it off.. but I dont want to damage it.

There's probably some crud on the inside that's keeping the hub from coming off. The outer hub should come off easily with a slide hammer. The inner hub will probably be held in with a snap ring and possibly another one on the end of the axle. It's been a long time since I owned a vehile with those hubs, so I'm leaning on a old memory.

tap at it with a rubber or plastic mallet. Odds are they put on with some RTV sealant but once the bolts are off the outer hub is free to come loose. Just realize there is 2 parts to it as said above. Also make sure it is in the "Free" position, this will help to free the outer.
here is a pic of the inner and outer seperated (without c-clip at end of axle).

Thanks for the input. I wanted to make sure I was not missing anything. I'll try a slide hammer, with the hub in free position.
