I have been through 950 pages of posts and haven't found the answer. But I am much wiser now. The knowledge that is available on this forum is incredible! I found answers to questions I didn't even know I had questions about. I am looking for the vacuum line routing for the heater controls. I have all the knobs, levers and switches operational. My heater control is the unit with 3 buttons, a lever to operate the flap over the heater core and a 2 speed, 3 position fan switch. There are 3 vacuum line connection ports on the right hand side of the controls that I need to connect.

    Thanks!

The year might help, because my 62 has 3 knobs, but it is all cable actuated.

I can look when I get home. My 64 CJ5 has the same heater control.

im hooking up the same lines soon as i put my dash back together i havnt done it yet but my haynes manual showes them as follows
the ports are in a triangle shape
the one closest to the front of the panel (toward inside of jeep) goes through firewall to engine
the one under that (lowest to floor) to pod at end of box near passanger feet
and the top one goes to pod just to right of blower motor.
dont know if this is correct as mine were all missing but this is where i was gonna start hope it helps

Other than the orientation of the triangle shape the ports make, "Jersey-Jeep" and I are in agreement as to where the lines route.

My control panel's vacuum ports are also in a triangle shape and are on the passenger side of the heater control. Looking from the passenger side of the Jeep toward the driver side of the Jeep, the pattern looks as follows..

    . B
    A C

A is closest to the front of the control panel, B is farthest from the floor and C is toward the back of the control panel (closest to the firewall).

A goes to the engine vacuum port under the carb. B goes to the vacuum actuator closest to the passenger and C goes to the vacuum actuator closest to the blower motor.

The buttons make the heater do what is expected.

I did have to take the control apart to clean out chunks of dried grease from the vacuum "switch".
