hey i saw something on another thread here about ps stuff.
    i have a ps gear box out of a 77 cj5 w/o a pitman arm.
i also have a ms gear box w/ the pitman arm out of a 59 cj5.
i was thinking to take the arm from the manual and put it on the ps gear box.
should i spend the time to take the arm off and try it or will this not work?

I am not sure about your 59 box, the the pitman shaft for the saggy manuals that I have worked with were all smaller diameter than the power saggys. You could probably just look at the retainer nut/shaft end and get a pretty good idea if you can swap them but my guess is that this probably will not work.

I usually grab drop pitman arms from 80s' cherokees-6 bucks at pull-a-part.
