Yes, we need a hardtop sticky somewhere...

here is probably the best source of hardtop info on the 'net right now:
    http://www.film.queensu.ca/cj3B/Hardtop.html

And that fiberglass hardtop is most likely an Acme but like Jeep2003 said there could be a couple other companies.

kathy, they look similar to my Meyer doors but the window looks all wrong. Maybe someone else can chime in and set us straight. Definately wouldnt keep them in the scrap pile. If you dont have a need for them, post em up for sale.

But that would make you violate one of the Jeep Commandments, "Thou shall never get rid of anything Jeep related until the project is done, that means anything."

I love Tim's "Thou shall never get rid of anything Jeep related until the project is done, that means anything." Our projects are never done!
We have a 40' by 80" barn currently occupied by a 54M170, 60CJ5, 65dodgeM37, 92YJ, half of a 92 grand wagoneer and we need to make room for a completely dissasembled 42 Dodge WC53(it is currently occupying the enclosed trailer and a lot of shelves in the barn) There is also a 83J10 and a 50 Jeepster parts car around here somewhere. Check our website at www.pwrwgn.net for photos of the fleet

I too have never seen one like this!

It is a very good looking HT, and looks as though it fits really good. Does the windows roll down? It almost looks like a super long window handle on the inside of the door...

Thanks a lot for sharing the info on the weatherstripping!

Did you just put it around the doors, or did you have to put it around the edges of the top too? My Acme HT has a factory "unfinished" raw edge around the body that I am looking for the right kind of stripping to install.

I checked out http://www.metrommp.com/ and ordered a free catalog from them. Hopefully I can find a few of the odd ball pieces that I'm looking for, so I can have mine sealed up nice and tight for the winter!

    Thanks again...

I installed the weatherstripping only on the doors. A couple of things that I learned throughout the process:
1.) When splicing two ends together, always cut them at an angle...they fit together much better.

2.) Stay along the outside of the door , when mounting the weatherstripping. I came in a little from the edge, where I thought it would seal...I came in a little too far. But it's been out in the rain all day, and no puddles inside.:)

What I also liked about this particular weatherstripping, is that you can cut into the hollow bulb in the spots where it's just too much material between the door and the body; and, it still makes a great seal when you need just a little material. I found it easier to trim it after it was mounted to see where it needed trimming.

The windows are in tracks, and basically rest on a shelf sandwiched in the door. The round black knob that you see inside the cab is threaded onto a bolt, that is connected to the shelf. So, you just loosen the knob, set the window where you want, then re-tighten it. Simple, and keeps the window wherever you put it for the whole ride.

Although the following is for a post '76 (I think?), there are not many threads on CJ5 hardtops, and I was hoping you all could share some knowledge, as I am looking for any info you all may be able to share on the following tops! A google search only revealed that the company from TN is no longer in business.

I VERY seldom see a CJ5 with a hardtop in person. I mean I will go a year or more without ever seeing one out and about...and today I found two different ones at different locations, and the funniest part about it, is that I have NEVER heard of this name brand making CJ5 hardtops.

They seem like they are REALLY well made, and the best part about them is they have a removable section for above the two front seats, just like the JK hardtops.

They also have a factory carpeted inside, and the doors are just like the Acme ones with the lower window.

Both of them had a sticker that read Top Flite hardtops.

Lets see what info we can find on these!

Here is the complete one that I found...sorry for the poor quality picture! You can see that it has the two different rear side windows, and you can also see the line/seam where the front part of the top lifts off!

Here is the other one that I found...
