Square back roll cage?

    Ok I turned my full cage into a square back cage to protect my kids while riding in the back of my 71 cj5. I painted it, bolted it in and then tryed to put the top back on. This is where the problem is. the top no longer fits. Its 70 degrees in the shop do you think it needs to be warmer to stretch it on? The bar that was added in the back is making it really tight. Any ideas? Does the rear bar need to be lower than the "B" bar? :?

    Not sure what to add, except that I would build the cage to fit inside the top without it touching.

    leave the top on the Jeep
    snap/tie down as much as you can
    maybe weigh the back panel down and hope it stretches
    it will be hard on the seams and zippers though
    measure twice...cut once.
    oh, and my cage touches eveywhere on the top
    I prefer it to kinda keep the top from slapping so much going down the highway.

    My cage was built/tacked while the top was on to make sure it would fit. It's gonna depend on how close it was to size.

    rear bar has to be slightly lower and with a little rake. DAMHIK
