I finally got the wheels and tires that I have been very patient waiting for. These came off a CORR PRO 4 race truck. I got 5 wheels and 6 tires for $450... It was worth the wait!!

Tires are KUMHO 35x12.50x17. These tires are bald when new and the raceing team from KUMHO cuts the tread pattern with a groover. These are not the same rubber compound that is available to the public.
I have a spring over, 1" poly body mounts. YJ front shackles which gave me 1" more in the front.

Just go to a TORC race when they are back east and ask the team to buy their tires and bent wheels, The inside bells were a little tacoed and pretty easy to streighten out.

    Those are sharp looking!

Does that stickier rubber wear considerably faster?

Im sure they will wear faster but tires are easy and cheap to get and I dont drive it every day.

    The wheels are 17x8.5

Backspacing is 4.5". I had to run 1.25" spacers with the narrow trak axles so they would'nt rub. You can order what you want but for the price I was'nt gonna be picky and I already had the spacers.

    those walkers are kewl.what a smoke'n deal

edit: just a quick question, if the tires are self cut how do they balance them ?I can see the pattern is not the same , did they take alot of weight or are you not going to do that.if those fronts are off you might get the death wobbles just on the trail at speed.just a thought.

If they were good enough for a desert truck, I'd think they would be balanced well enough for the trail.

true Pat , but those trucks are for bashing/jumps not the hwy, but with that soft tread they will only last this season and then they will get hard or really chunked up.

I didnt balance them and they drive fine. I get them for $30 a piece so Im not worried if they go bad, I doubt they will go bad after 1 season.
