I am trying to rebuild my tranny and Transfer case from my 69 Cj. It is the stock T14A/dane 18 combo... I think. I ahve already pulled them and seperated them from each other. I am going ot do the transfer case first it seems like the easiest. I am having trouble getting the nuts for the output yokes off, any tips?

Also I have never done this so any helpful tips and advice would be great!
    Thank in advance.

If you don't have access to an impact wrench, you can use a pipe wrench to hold the front yoke and use a breaker bar (with a cheater if necessary) to break the nut loose. Also, I put two pieces of wood in the jaws of the pipe wrench so the yoke can dig into the wood and not the jaws. As for taking the rear output nut off, shift the t-case in 4WD and keep the pipe wrench on the front yoke to hold it still while you bust the rear nut loose with a breaker bar. It's best to bust the rear nut first doing it this way.

Cool Thats what I was thinking of doing since I don't have an impact wrench...yet.
Any thing else I should watch out for while going through the process?
Oh what exactly do I need to complete the rebuild, I have the gasket set, anything else?

Get the Novak kit if you can.........

If the cheater bar doesn't work you may have to heat it........specially if someone used locktight

I prefer to paint them with Rust Bullet. Powder coat is too expensive (IMO)..
