I am having my V6 rebuilt. I was running hotter plugs because I was burning so much oil. Now that everything will be fresh, what spark plugs should I use? I will be running an HEI, and a 470 Truck Avenger carb

With a new engine I would start with the plug recommended in the FSM and go from there. Should be a Delco R43S or Autolite 85 IIRC.

Yes, that's the stock listed plug in Autolite. I ran those and 86's for years. I just thought I'd try platinums.
