Since I am not at my jeep now to pull the box, does anyone know what's the spline count of the 74 non power box...at the column and box?
I'm planning my waggie box swap, but need to get the joints ordered for the box end since I plan on extending my factory shaft by sleeving it with 3/4"DOM to the new coupler at the box.

that must have been the correct way to do it. I took the shaft out of the donor steering and went that route. needed to make new bushings for the column but worked great.

Depending on the waggie box its the same spline count as the manual box.now would be a good time up upgrade to the flaming river shaft.

I'll be using flaming river U joints, but if they make a replacement shaft that will work, that may even better since those joints are $$$$$
I know i'll be moving the box forward when I build the mount so a stock replacement won;t be long enough unless there is a ton of slip in the Double D shaft.
