The cloth like material that goes on the front of the grille from left to right. Seals the hood when it's closed. ;)

I got some from Herm about 9 months ago. 15 bucks--not bad.

BTW, he "drop shipped" is from ATV Mfg. Inc., PO Box 805, Brush Prairie, WA, 98606

    Mine is Olive Drab.

I think i got mine from Kaiser Jeep parts. I forget the price but it came with the correct split rivets. Not Pop rivets that Herm has.

I had enough left over to do the bumpers that are on top of the windshield frame too.

Wee Bee webbing sais that this is not the same stuff that goes under the gas tank. There should be an "asphalt" impregnated webbing for that. (But he no has)

While I do not know Herm personally, I can tell you that he is just about the most honest person I would ever hope to meet. He has more "irons in the fire" than you could ever imagine, yet he will answer each and every email.
He is not a whiz bang, gonna make a million mba who thinks he is the Ayotolla of technology/commerce and is gonna buy a big house.
He is an honest early Jeep enthusiast , who can rebuild a warn overdrive that they dont even make anymore, including warn.com . He offers top quality rebuilds that you cant find at toyota/honda/napa and so if you want to save $3 by bypassing Herm for some welting, no big deal.
I just took offense because he has always been honest and upfront with me, and i seriously doubt anyone can say he provided them with a sub-standard part that wasnt as advertised.
sorry for the rant, but when Herm closes his shop, I for one, will be very sad, and you will find yourself at Napa asking for a part that dosent exist.

Herm is a good guy - and I believe deserves our support. After my first dealings with him I have spent close to $600 on misc parts in the last couple months – even things I could get cheaper elsewhere. I know when I am looking for something I see if he has it – if so I stop looking - I am pretty sure I am not the only person who feels this way and as long has he is the ‘Herm’ we know now he will always have more business than he knows what to do with.
