This Jeep has been in my wife's family since it was new, but it's been sitting for the last 20 years. It's time to bring it back to life!

    Welcome Kevin!

I detect old California plates on that there Commando, if you're in CA I would try to keep those on the vehicle.
I recently picked up a tow bar that looks identical to that one for my CJ5 :)

Well now you have done it. You know your wife's car comes first. No free time for yourself until it's done. OH and welcome from Ga.

I'm amazed by the condition for sitting so long. If that was here you would be able to poke your finger through the body. Great start.

    Congratulations !
Nice starting point... the minimal rust and all. Does it have those elusive rear slider windows?

There's something about seeing an old piece of iron being plucked from the ground and trailered home for a resurrection. Good luck with your project!

Oh, that looks pretty good! No tailgate rust, no rust in the rockers... definitely a CA car.
