How do you get to the points?

    I am cleaning up the engine, prepping for the new radiator. Well I pulled the cap and rotor off, and how do i get to the points? I see no screws. There is a plate on top that kind of wiggles but i do not see it coming uff, and i do not want to pry where i am not supposed to. Anyone got a picture of the Lhead dizzy to access the points.

    That plate should come off...

    should i pry on it? IT is riveted down, i only see one flat spot to maybe get a screwdriver under it.

    problem solved, i got it off. nice to see a new set of points already under there :)

    Dan I asked the same question awhile back, at first it really seems they do not come off, I just got ****ed enough and got crazy with a pry bar

    i took two screwdrivers on both side and popped it off.
