Dauntless Alt/Reg wiring

I've got a 69 CJ5 with a motorola regulator and I assume same make alt. on the dauntless V6 motor. The wiring was all there but wasn't connected when I got the jeep. The regulator wires are grey, green w/white tracer and black with w/tracer. The wire plug for the regulator on the vehicle's wiring has the same color wires. There are (2) posts on the alternator and (2) blade terminals I know the larger post is the batt. connection but beyond that ?? There are no markings on the alternator. The diagrams I've been able to find do not show these color wires. Can anyone help? Thanks
