Grinding Welds

    Guys i have been using a 4 1/2 grinder to take down welds on my patch panels on the body. What about in the tight areas the grinder wont fit. What are you guys using?

    i have a straight shaft and angle head (90deg.) die grinders.they use a 1/4" collette .you can buy a pad that accepts small diameter grinding discs that come in all grits, 40,80,200,etc.they work real well and don't generate much heat.the Harbor Freight cheapies work just fine.i'm sure you can find them online if not local.

    are they the little plastic thingys that go in the collar. THe kind you can get at Lowes an such?
