I drove it for the first time today... No body, seat not bolted in, a half quart of gasoline, and a battery next to me so I could disconnect the coil. I got home and it was on the edge of HOLY CRAP THIS IS FUN!!!!!! and.... Oh poop this is what suicide must feel like! helps I hadn't adjusted my brakes.
I also rear ended the Jeep with it when I went to stop it going up the driveway.... clutch is a LOT more touchy then the Jeep, meaning it's on or off and yep, dented the cross member and the rear quarter  mehh now to fix that too....
But that thing, man, I put it in first gear and let the clutch out. Burn out  then it hooks up and the front end rises up 8"s or so...!!!!! Camera phone video soon

After hitting....Something.... which I shall not mention... On my birthday...With the buggy, the front bumper was toast, at the mounts at least. I added moar triangulation to the mount that bent and it didn't do a thing... So I scratched my head and in the mean time added a winch plate (just needs to be cut) and a pre runner skid plate, as well as a D shackle tug point
    [IMG]
I ended up adding 2 pieces of DOM to make it nice and tight, and it worked. Welded to 1/4" thick bar stock bolted to the frame head. It ain't comin off...
Also welded tabs for the rear skid plate
    [IMG]
And mounted an oil filter :)

I have a wish list, including a Mile Marker 3k lb ATV winch, Warrios 6" front beam, and Tweeds extended arms for more travel.

flat towing ftw, it handled it just fine. I realize 2 things 1) My brakes need adjusting even though I think they're auto adjust. I knew they needed it when winching and locking it up 2 of the tires keep turning, but also because the extra weight. and 2)I need to make a better tow bar.... LOL

The body wasn't even attached. Otherwise it towed it perfectly fine in high range.

Winch is in and installed. Superwinch ATV 2500 lb... I believe Superwinch is english, but I'm not positive. Regardless, I think it was made in USA...Beats MM, tho I would have loved a Warn on the front.

Putnam, CT is about 20 minutes away from me, had a friend who worked there cleaning the shop in high school.
