Dana 30 inner axle V seal or Oil seal

    Hi Guys
    just replaced ball joints on my open knuckle dana 30

    I have to replace the oil seal the presses into the back of the spindle and runs on the inner axle flinger

    Now, later models dispense with the oil seal and use a V seal instead

    So which is better at keeping junk out????

    I'm at a fork which way do I go :?
