Well folks, after plugging away this winter, I am close to the road again on this sickly Jeep
    so far I have done:

    starter and cables
edelbrock shorty headers going on this week
    springs, bushings, shackles, etc
    tie rods, pitman arm.
gas tank filler hose, fuel line
    brakes in entirety
    changed all fluids everywhere
fought the broken dipstick, installed unit from bulltear (installing aint easy either!)
    fixed up stock drawbar
polished wheels, never used so much sandpaper! they were terrible!

so only shocks (ones it came with were too short), header install, exhaust bending at a local shop, alignement, and some vac hoses, tuning happiness and I should actually have a driving Jeep!

:) just thought I'd share some excitement. been 4 months since the dangerous drive home with her........ Looking forward to not hearing cheap headers leaking everywhere and going pretty straight down the road instead of all over the place!

THANK YOU TO ALL FOR YOUR HELP! My questions of often minutia such as 'what screw fits here?' were always quickly answered and I thank all of you for all the help these months!

    this site is great!
