I used electrolysis to remove rust from a 1974 cj6 frame. It removed the rust and left some of the frame black. I am going to power wash it to completely remove any residue. I was going to paint it with rustoleum. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Eastwood rust encapsulator or por15 and then cover it with chassis black paint from Eastwood. The por15 and rust encapsulator are very very tuff and can take a for real beating without chipping off.

I had mine powdercoated, wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, and it looks killer!
Of course, it's been sitting in storage ever since....
