I gave up on USA made just about the time I realized that couldn't even find a set of BLACK wires that I wouldn't have to hack up to make fit. I have yellow Accel 7mm wires on there now and I hate them. :(

I ordered a set from Walck's. He said they are Valley Forge brand ( ?). I also spoke to, I think it was Midwest Jeep, who also carry the same brand. They said they get them from Omix Ada but that they are made in Valley Forge PA. Not sure about all this but I wil let you all know. I should have them early next week. FLAPs didn't have a listing for wire sets for the L or F head. All they could offer is a universal set that you have to cut to length and all that crap. It seems to be getting vry difficult indeed to find :flag:parts or anyhting else for that matter but I keep trying and do my best not to buy foreign stuff. Atleast not Chinese stuff.

If you can, replace all the boots on the Omix-Ada wires. Mine lasted about 6 months before they all started to crack & split. :(

:flag::flag::flag: The wires arrived today. Printed on them is " 7mm COPPER MADE IN USA " I don't know if walck's sourced them from Omix Ada or not. But they are definately made in America. I'll keep an eye on the boots. This junk of mine doesn't get run much so we'll see what happens. Seth, I got a set for the trencher, too. Gonna try to get it running this spring.

If you can't find a set, you should be able to order terminals and boots, and buy some wire in bulk, and make a set. I prefer to make my own anyway. That way I can get the lengths just the way I want...

Got the wires on and still have no spark. The old wires were def bad as they showed a lot or resistance on the ohm meter. Got 12 volts on both sides of the coil. I wonder if I cooked another condensor? If so, it would be the second one. What would cause this rag to keep cooking condensors?

Just unhook the condenser and see if you get spark. The only way I can see a condenser cause a no spark condition is if it's grounded out internally. It'll run without it, just that the points won't last long due to arcing.
