Dana 27 rebuild question

    On the 27 is there a seal which seperates the knuckle housing oil chamber and the differential. I don't see one on my 68 cj5 on the outer axel and hub area. Maybe it is in the diff?. If there isn't one then I guess the oil in the diff could go to the knuckle and vise versa.

    The seal you are looking for is in the axle tube just outboard of the differential housing x2.
