Water Jacket?

    I just picked up my engine from the machine shop where they were drilling out a broken manifold stud. He casually mentioned that it went into a water jacket. He said he put some liquid teflon around the stud that he put back in.

    Is this going to be enough to seal it off?

    Yes........You can also use aviation form a gasket : ):)

    Thanks Billy. I was just worried that the stud might not seal the water in, since it isn't bottoming out on anything and "stretching" the threads.

    same here. i ended up with teflon tape but it's good.
