I have a hydraulic clutch in my frankenstien jeep and last late fall while "driving" up to my parents wood roads to look at a problem tree for my father I noticed the pedal had nothing when I went to run it a few days later. So I checked the master cylinder and it was very low. I topped it off and pumped the pedal a few times and it felt like it had air in it so I went to bleed the air out but sheered off the bleed screw. No biggie. I wil just easy out it. Well it still is not out but I pumped the pedal about 10-15 more times and it came back. No leaking. Then I was looking down towards the slave cylinder and noticed I have a bleed screw there too. Just so you all know this JEEP was kind of hacked together and I am fixing it as I go. My question is what is this thing I sheered the bleed screw off of? The slave cylinder looks like a GM one for a conversion you would use on a 225 :v6:. I will try and take pics so I can be more specific. Any thoughts? Oh and the master cylinder has no leaks anywhere and it is a NABCO unit.

You could always break the line loose at the matercylinder and bleed it that way.

I thought I might be able to do that. I will take pics of this contraption.
