I was thinking about getting some seam seal and sealing all the seams in the Jeep before I paint it.
    Has anybody done this before?

I did mine before I herculined it. I bought it in a caulk tube from NAPA. I think the brush on stuff would be easier to apply and make look better.

Scott: I am doing this now, along with my bodywork. I have the brushable seam sealer from evercoat for the inside areas (where I bolted the front fenders on for example). I am using the 3M heavy drip check sealer for the outer seams. It comes in a tube that you can run a nice bead with. Apply fairly heavy, because it doea shrink down into the seam as it dries.

Thanks guys. Might be easier to get into the traverse ledge support with the brush on stuff.
