Got 'em in my '56. Front - not quite wide enough, trans/tunnel cover won't match factory holes in the cowl to bolt on, wood in hat channels, welds suck, primer is junk- need to sand/scrape/blast it off, no holes for pedals or m/c fill, original tool box won't fit on this panel due to different tunnel bends, etc etc. If I was to do it over I'd get just the floor panels from Classic Ent. Rear - underbracing not in factory locations, seat mount areas not right, lower rear valance where tailgate hinges go are not aligned, same junk primer and wood as fronts, bad welds, etc etc. How bad are the floors? No way I would spend money on these (esp truck freight), got mine in swaps so I don't feel too bad. IMO, stay far, far away.

thats why we post these things, thanks for the heads up. I will check out classic. The floors in the fornt need to be replaced, the braces underneath are pretty chewed up, the floors themselves are repairable maybe, back is a little better, but dented real bad. I am going to replace all with new, just need to find out where.

The one time I dealt with Classic's product I was very impressed. They seem to be built with a restore in mind and had the little extra on the outside of the panels to scribe and fit right. They seemed to be the stock gauge, though I didn't measure them (it was on a friends rig I was helping with).

They are on my list of sources once we start he CJ6 work (hopefully next fall).

I'd guess most of these vendors sell MD Juan parts. Rigid Steel in Rowe MA also sells floor pans, for 2/3 the price of Kaiser-Willys, and they are only about 150 miles from you.

I've heard good things about Jeep Panels Plus, but I also hear they are something of a Mom&Pop business, and you need to call.

What a great guy from JEEP panels plus. talked to him for quite awhile turns out he is a fellow submariner. looks like I can get front and rear floor panels along with all hat channels made out of 16 and 18 guage american steel for around 400 bucks. Also got a price from him to drop off the tub and pick it up all welded and complete. Being as I don't have a welder right now this might be the way to go. Just an FYI if you call him he will send you complete catalog free of charge.
