While working on my 71' cj-5 I managed to crack the oil pump cover... it feels like it is made of aluminum. Any ideas who to call for a replacement or repair?

    thanks

First off where is it cracked in the main part of the housing that covers the timing chain or on the lower part that bolts on and actually house the bypass valve and such. If it is the main housing I wouldn't repair it I would simply find a good used one in the junk yard that fits a 231 buick front wheel drive model or buy a new one, the lower part can be had the same way.

If it's the lower part that removes from the timing chain cover, I've got a spare used one.
