I have a t-86 trans buick 231 setup I have put trw forged pistons and the middle cam that comp cams offers and an offy intake with edelbrock 500 carb. I think I want to run a set of paddle tires at the dunes. I have complete sets of 5:38s, one rear 4:27, one rear 4:56, and a complete set of 3:73. I am going to be rebuilding my axles anyway so maybe I want 4:88s. I will be running 33" tires normally.
Thanks for any help you can offer. The motor is only about 1000 miles old and puts out plenty of power if I need more I won't be afraid to put a 125 shot of spray on it!

I'd run 3.73s in dunes if you got the power, which you probably do w/ that set up. I run 4.88s w/ an OD and it's in OD when I play in the sand. I don't know if I could do paddles any justice though. You should be able to kick up some rooster tails.:v6:
